TC Harvest

The weekend began with the first double header in ages.  Maps are alternated between two campaigns while four leaders engage in strategy and list making. The idea is to allow preparation during the playtime of the other campaign. Things went well Saturday using this strategy. The Capellans were very busy but able to put up a considerable fight.  Planet Tikonov stands at a 2-1 advantage for the Capellan defenses. Planet Jonathan was captured by Tikonov in 4 maps. The battles were fierce for the planet.

Capellan leadership wanted the planet back so Sunday, technically in turn 52,  the offensive began.  A good fight was made but the skies lit up on TC Monument securing the momentum for the campaign victory. Some issues came up on Stone Rose but video review saw no reason for replay.  Note that planet attacks are designed to be made without prior knowledge of enemy plans in a turn.  Since the Capellan leadership knew about Tikonov plans for Jonathan, the recapture campaign will move to turn 52. Keeping the battle in turn 51 would require replacing both played campaigns with a breakthrough or gambit.

The weekend ended with a replay map on planet Tybalt. Map 4 had issues with damage not registering. The planet result remained the same with Blakist hanging on in a successful defense.

There is a chance the event returns this Friday around 20 UTC. An announcement will be made here and on teamspeak if we do in fact play. Else the event returns Saturday to complete the planet Tikonov campaign at 19:00 UTC. The video of the week comes from two places TC Monument and TC Harvest.
